Must See Country February 2016
The top country concerts in New York City in February 2016.
It may be cold out, but that’s no reason to stay home when we have so many amazing artists coming to the NYC area in February. There are close to twenty shows on the calendar this month. Here’s a few that are must see, ranging across a broad spectrum of country music tastes and styles.
Ryan Bingham at Irving Plaza NYC, Friday February 5th
Oscar and Grammy award winning artist Ryan Bingham is bringing his Fear And Saturday Night Tour to NYC, with a stop at Irving Plaza on February 5th. Bingham is probably best known for his song The Weary Kind from the 2009 film Crazy Heart. Bingham will also be stopping by the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on Saturday February 6th.
Anderson East at Bowery Ballroom NYC, Friday February 12th
Anderson East’s The Devil In Me Tour hits NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on February 12th. For East’s latest album, Delilah, he teamed up with Dave Cobb, who’s produced some of the best country albums in recent years including Chris Stapleton’s Traveller and Jason Isbell’s Something More Than Free. East is heading out West this spring to open for Chris Stapleton (fingers crossed they extend that tour and bring it to NYC).
Kacey Musgraves at Starland Ballroom NJ, Saturday February 20th
Kacey Musgraves’ Country & Western Rhinestone Review is heading to NJ’s Starland Ballroom. Mugraves writes from the heart, bringing out real experiences folks can relate to – and often with a sprinkling of her wit that makes you smile. You can expect songs from both her albums – Same Trailer Different Park, and her latest release Pageant Material. And lots of neon cacti.
Jason Isbell at the Beacon Theatre NYC, Thursday February 25th & Friday February 26th
Labeled the ‘New King of Americana Music’ in a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Jason Isbell will be performing for two nights at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. Isbell’s Something More Than Free was #1 on Billboard’s list of Best Country Albums of 2015.
Luke Bryan at the Mohegan Sun Arena CT, Friday February 26th and Saturday February 27th

Luke Bryan at FarmBorough Festival in New York City on June 28, 2015.
Reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan will spend two nights at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena. Dustin Lynch is joining Luke on this stop of the Kill The Lights Tour (Little Big Town are also part of the tour, but are not performing either of the nights at Mohegan).
