Bonnie Raitt brings her Dig In Deep tour to New York’s Beacon Theatre for two sold out performances.
We got to see Ruthie perform at FarmBorough Festival last year and were so impressed. Take a listen to her remake of Hank Williams Sr.’s Ramblin’ Man and then go check her out at the Wolf Den on the 10th and see for yourself.
He has three consecutive number one hits – Helluva Life, Sunshine & Whiskey, and Young & Crazy – and was recently supporting Florida Georgia Line on their Anything Goes Tour. On April 14th Frankie Ballard’s headlining at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury.
After more than a year in the studio working with some of music’s biggest names, Maggie Rose — the genre-defying, Play It Again-hitmaker — reemerges as one of Nashville’s most “astute” (New York Times) producers, artists and songwriters. The first of her forthcoming double EP set — ‘The Variety Show. Vol.1’ — will be released to all streaming platforms and iTunes on April 8. This innovative mix of pop melodies and gospel influence with a strong, roots-country foundation showcases how her continuously evolving style makes her one of the torchbearers of the New Nashville sound, in what The Washington Post hails as “less an act of reinvention than liberation.” [source: Shorefire Media]
