Devin Dawson and Jillian Jacqueline joined Brett Eldredge at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom for the final stop on the spring leg of The Long Way Tour.
Country’s reigning crooner Brett Eldredge has opened for some of the biggest names in the genre, including recent tours with Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Keith Urban. Over his career he’s racked up six number one hit singles, and his latest self-titled album debuted at number one on the country chart. So it was no surprise when Eldredge announced his first headlining tour that fans sold out venue after venue within hours of going on sale. The show at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom was no exception – there wasn’t an inch of open real estate on the general admission floor.

Eldredge kicked off his set in NYC with The Reason as he walked out of a bright red English-style phone booth that had been placed on the side of the stage. He immediately connected with the audience as he worked through the first half of his set, which included hits like Somethin’ I’m Good At and Don’t Ya.
Midway through his set the crew brought a bed on to the stage for Eldredge to sit on while he performed a few acoustic Bedhead Jams for the crowd. His adorable dog, Edgar Boogie, joined him for one tune, a very sweet version of You Are My Sunshine. Other jams included Raymond, Eldredge’s first single that he released back in 2010 as a tribute to his grandma, as well as Mean To Me and Haven’t Met You.

The full band came back out as laser lights shot from the stage and filled the theater for Eldredge’s number one hit and crowd favorite, Lose My Mind. He followed that with his current single on country radio, The Long Way.
Openers Devin Dawson and Jillian Jacqueline joined Eldredge to perform a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy. Eldredge ended his regular set with Beat Of The Music, “the perfect song for Cinco de Mayo,” he told the audience. For his encore Eldredge performed Castaway and ended the night with Drunk On Your Love.
Eldredge just announced that he’s adding fall dates to The Long Way Tour. He’ll kick off on September 13th in Denver and will wrap up on October 19th in Boca Raton.
