Ray Fulcher joined The Cadillac Three at New York's Irving Plaza on February 23rd as part of their 2019 Country Fuzz Tour.
“We’re tryin’ to make music for the person that’s lookin’ for their favorite fuckin’ band ever,” said The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston at New York’s Irving Plaza. “I feel like the world needs that band right now, I think country music needs that band right now.”

TC3 rocked NYC Saturday night as part of their 2019 Country Fuzz Tour. The trio, comprised of Johnston (vocals, guitar), Neil Mason (drums) an Kelby Ray (lap-steel), are masters at delivering huge country anthems with a level of swagger unmatched in the genre.
The Big Machine Records recording artists last headlined a New York City show in February 2017 on their Black Roses Tour. This time their power packed set ran past midnight, which the crowd loved (the Irving Plaza staff, not so much). “Y’all keep comin’ back, we’ll keep comin’ back,” Jaren said to much applause.

Having known each other since they were teens growing up in Nashville, the bond between Jaren, Kelby and Neil is instrumental in solidifying their legacy among the all-time greatest trios.
Their set Saturday night felt like it never took a breath, delivering crowd-rocking tracks for nearly two hours. From Peace Love & Dixie to Bury Me In My Boots, from Tennessee Mojo to White Lighting, the NYC crowd was singing along to every track with drinks raised it the air throughout the night.

Here they are performing my favorite, American Slang, which they co-wrote with GRAMMY award winning songwriter Lori McKenna:
As is customary at every TC3 show, they ended with a room-shaking performance of The South.
Opening for the trio was Georgia-native Ray Fulcher who co-wrote eight songs on This One’s For You, the debut album from Luke Combs, including the smash number one single When It Rains It Pours. Fulcher is also seeing success with his recently released single, Anything Like You Dance, which you’ll definitely want to listen to this summer as you’re driving with the windows down.
